SC fires Tamil Nadu and Kerala states on Mullaiperiyar dam issue. Where is justice ? T.N or Kerala side...?

The Supreme Court of India on Tuesday (13-12-11) criticized in strong words both the governments of Tamil Nadu and Kerala states saying, instead of trying to put out the fire they are fueling on the Mullaperiyar Dam row.

The Mullaperiyar dam controversy is worsening these days, with the support of both the governments encouraging their people to riot against the other.

All the other Indian States and the popular electronic and print medias came openly in support the stand of the Kerala Government which repeatedly assure Tamil Nadu that all the water and the treaty will stand good even if another strong dam is built instead of the present old dam.

Kerala Government categorically emphasis the need for protecting the lives and properties of millions of people who can be washed away, in the unfortunate incident of the dam break.

Even many broad minded people of Tamil Nadu say this offer is acceptable and they wonder why the Tamil Nadu government is remaining stubborn without thinking of taking an amicable step to settle the matter.

What can the ordinary people do...? They can pray for a friendly solution to this burning issue which can become a wild fire...!

Kiran's Congress government in A.P wins the no-confident motion by Telugu Desam...?

The no-confidence motion passed by the opposition Telugu Desam Party in the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly on December 5, 2011 against the ruling Congress Government led by the chief minister Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, is lost and the Government wins and with stands the motion.

The assembly witnessed hot and serious debate earlier today (Monday) between the Telugu Desam Chief and opposition leader Mr N. Chandra Babu Naidu and the Chief Minister Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, each making more of personal attacks than of political issues on the other.

Though some MLAs of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress party supported the no-confidence motion, the motion failed and there is no immediate harm to the government.

There is wide spread opinion among the public that thoug YSR Congress categorically considers Telugu Desam Party as their grand enemy, they made true the old saying... 'enemy's enemy is my ally'...! Many people have started raising this question, who is the arch-rival among the two parties for YSRC...? Is it INC or TDP...?

This is the nineth no-confidence motion passed in the history of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assebly which none of them won...!

The controversial ban on DAM 999 movie in Tamil Nadu and the Mullaperiyar dam row

The recently released movie 'DAM999' has been banned by the Tamil Nadu government and this action of the government has brought wide criticism from most public irrespective of any regional or political differences. The main reason for the ban of this film in Tamil Nadu state is said to be that it is directed by Dubai based Sohan Ray, who hails originally from Thiruvananthapuram of Kerala.

The director in the movie tries to explain the tragedies occurred only because of dam breaking in the human history and the innumerable loss of lives and properties due to the fury of controlled water.

The Tamil Nadu government which already has a dispute over the 'Mullaperiyar' dam with Kerala misunderstood to have linked this with the movie.

In-fact the Mullaiperiyar dam constructed some 116 years ago is too old to hold the huge currents of the water in it and it is a strong and permanent threat to millions of people of Kerala. Even the geographical condition of the area with frequent tremors and earth quakes is very much a concern to a large number of people of Kerala State.

So there is a strong opinion of the public that something should be done immediately to find a solution to this terror without having mere parochial or political mileage.

Andhra Pradesh Exempted from NEET for two years...!

There is a lot of relief among the MBBS aspirants form Andhra Pradesh State of India during the academic years of 2011 - 2012 and 2012 - 2013, as the health Minister of India Mr Gulam Nabi Azad concedes to the request of the A.P. Chief Minister Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy to postpone the implementation of NEET (National Eligibility and Entrance test) purported for the eligibility for MBBS admission in the country.

When the MCI recently announced the strict implementation of the test from 2012 itself, there was a lot of fear and concern among the students as there is a lot of difference in the syllabus followed in different states and center. Hence the CM took the issue to the notice of the Central Government, who responded briskly and favorably thus bringing huge relief to the student community in a whole.

This is widely accepted as a good news by the majority of people who expressed their happiness.

NEET MBBS Entrance Exams are creating fear and confusion in aspirant students of A.P..?

The recently introduced NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) by the MCI (Medical Council of India) for admission into various Medical Colleges in every states across India has seen mixed reactions among the public. Though some people opine such a new system would improve the quality and standards of medical education, It has also created panic and fear among some students, specially the ones aspiring for medical seats from Telugu mediums Colleges in Andhra Pradesh state and some other southern states.

They are requesting the union government and MCI to start this examination system from the next academic year 2013 instead of 2012.

But the MCI is keen to introduce NEET in all the states from May 2012 itself for MBBS admissions and for the Medical PG courses to conduct NEET from 2013.

Cruel Blind Faith after Diwali in Ujjain; Cows and bulls are made to run over human beings...!

It is very unfortunate to see some cruel blind beliefs performed in the name of faith in an advanced country like India. The news telecast on popular news channels were shocking.

The practice of performing a religious event after the festival, Deepavali in Ujjain was really cruel and inhuman. Many people lay on the ground in lines and cattle, like cows and bulls were made to run over the people and stampede. Many people were seriously injured in this event. The poor animals also got hurt in this incident, while running helter-shelter in fear out of the sound and hauls made by the people. This 'devotion' is performed every year there after the 'festival of lights'

Many educated people are condemning such cruel practices in the name of god or piety.

Anna Hazare's own blog against the Congress Party

The acclaimed anti-corruption crusader, Anna Hazare has threatened once again the ruling Indian National Congress party. In his recent blog posts released before 'Deepavaly" (may be as he is maintaining silence), he has warned the Congress party to face serious damage, if it did not yield to his demands.

He also backed his team member, Kiran Bedi on the present controversy she is involved in, relating to the 'air-fare bill inflation'. He said the charges leveled against the former top cop Bedi is not fair.

He blamed that the 'gang of four' ( the four central ministers) in the government is an obstacle to the formation of the Jan Lokpal Bill for which he is fighting...!

However, attack on a secular political party, and getting support of another party that has religious agendas, has created concerns in many common people who found a Savior in him to lead the struggle against corruption.

A.P High Court orders to sell liquor at MRP rates.

At last the High Court of Andhra Pradesh had to intervene in the matter of selling IM liquor much above the MRP rates at the liquor shops. The High Court today issued an order to the IMFL outlets to sell liquor at the MRP rates printed on the bottles and to issue proper bills to the consumers.

Though this matter was brought to the notice of the Government several times by the media and other organizations, it could not do anything to control the liquor mafia.

It was because a Lawer named Venkateswara Rao who made an appeal to the court to check and control the sale of liquor above MRP rates.

It should be waited and watched whether the government will implement the directives of the court properly...!

Anna Hazare given NDTV Indian of the Year award...!

There is no doubt about the popularity Anna Hazare got when he started his struggle for bringing a corruption free India. Scores of people form all walks of life offered him unconditional support. In a short period of time Anna Hazare became a people's crusader and everyone's leader. He was compared to Mahatma Gandhiji and affectionately called as modern Gandhi and a man of secularism.

Today Anna hazare was chosen as an Indian of the Year by popular English News TV channel of India, NDTV. Not all people of India are happy with this news as Anna, who showed no political or communal links then, has started showing some soft-corner with a communal political party of India BJP recently.

This has caused a lot of concern in the minds of people who really love democracy and secularism and they have started to realize the hidden agenda in Hazare to please a sect of people of a particular religion.

Some people hence strongly feel that Anna cannot be considered as a true secular person and he is not eligible to receive such an honor from an organization like NDTV, led by a real democrat and visionary, Prannoy Roy...!

Sanjeev Bhatt, the top IPS officer of Gujarat, who dared to come out openly against Gujarat Chief minister Narendra Modi was arrested on September 30, 2011.

Today he was granted bail by the court and it is a big set back to Modi. All his supporters welcomed the decision of the court and gave him a warm welcome outside the jail.

Telengane Strike called off ... Seperate Telengana statehood granted...?

Let's suppose we see or hear a news like this. The 'all people's strike' (sarva Janula samme) called on by the pro-Telengana activists, has crippled terribly an active and progressing state like Andhra Pradesh. The ongoing strike has been in effect for more than a month. Students, government, public and private employees are actively taking part in the strike, without any leadership or control or without knowing the damage it is causing to their own kith and kin. People in general are paying heavily for it and will pay in the future also.

Strikes were called on and 'hartals' were observed in the past to protest against certain policies and to legitimately demand for certain rights. But always there were proper ethics and morale along with some people friendly visionaries behind every such movement.

Many people now are unaware that many strikes and 'bundhs' are master planned by certain political leaders for their personal political mileage. They use the innocent people who are usually fools and who don't bother to think much.

Teachers of universities, colleges or schools are supposed to teach their students and complete the prescribed syllabus by the prescribed time frame. If they use their students to perform strikes and encourage them to engage in vandalism by destroying our own property and harming our own brothers and sisters, will they be able to control them once the result is got? Will these students who consider violence is their teacher's 'dakshina' ever become useful and responsible citizens in future?

'Kumkumapoove' is agood serial on Asianet TV Channel, with the apt actions of most of the actors and good directions. In this serial which is telecast five days a week, Jayanthi Teachers action as a good lady is good but it was better when she handled the villainous role.



Shalini's look itself gains sympathy for her, while Amala's role as a spoiled child is wonderful.

Anna Hazare arrested and detained - Very Unfortunate for the Delhi and Union Government.

The shocking arrest of Anna Hazare, known as the 2nd Gandhian of this time, has brought a lot of displeasure and contempt among the people, without any political or parochial differences.



Anna had already announced that he would start his 'fast', if the government did not stand by its assurances given to his team at the time of his previous fast.



To day the Delhi Police granted him permission to fast laying 25 conditions, which were unacceptable for him and he was arrested and detained.



People's ire is mounting on the Politicians and the Officials and they are expressing their support to Anna in the different parts of the country, by performing rasta roko and meetings.



The popular public opinion is that India will be the no.1 country in the world, provided corruption is rooted-out from this country.



How far it is possible is a big question, as the people in power and positions are widely misusing their offices for making money by involving in any corrupt means...!

In spite of the stern laws, not to talk on cell phones, while driving any vehicle many people are very careless and fearless. They continue to break the law intentionally. Because they know that the law is only on paper and they can coolly go away mentioning the name of some politicians, whether they have any significance in the party or government. If extremely necessary, they can drive off throwing a 100 Rupee note to the police who stop them for the offense.



These people not only put them into trouble but cause injury and damage to the innocent people who drive or walk carefully on the road. many a times, careless driving of vehicles and riding of two-wheelers, injure and even kill many children and the aged.



Any law, which is small or great, should not be allowed to violate. people must be aware that the laws are for following. Proper fine or penalty should be imposed on any offender, without any exception of any nature.



When people commit petty offenses in the beginning and when they are not caught, they are tempted to do greater crimes. The police are responsible for the implementation of the rules without any partiality.

Selling Liquor Above MRP Rates in Andhra Pradesh and other States of India...!

There are several cells and Organization in India to protect and safe-guard the interest of consumers. Periodically huge advertisements are displayed in print and electronic media to create awareness among the consumers and advising them to bargain and buy products less than the 'Maximum Retail Price' (MRP) printed on the goods and products.

Contrary to this, the 'Indian made foreign liquor' shops in A.P. State ridiculously sell all liquor items much above the MRP labels, without any fear or respect to the law of the land.

All the Government Departments and machinery concerned are afraid of these 'liquor syndicate mafia' so that they are unable to lift even a small finger against them, as they are guarded by all political parties, as all these parties have a common agenda in this regard only, as they all get their share of the loot.

The income tax department of India is conducting raids on Malayalam film super stars, Mammootty and Mohanlal. Film stars are ordinary people with a proven ability to act and so they have chosen that field as a means to make a living.

Unfortunately many people especially in India consider them as gods and give them undue respect. They are of course, good as they entertain the people with their action. For that they receive reasonable remuneration too.

As far as the law of the land is concerned, cine actors or politicians too are equal citizens just like any other poor Indian. Everyone in the country is expected to follow the country's laws without any exemptions. No one is expected to take any undue advantage of his power, influence or popularity.

Is MLM a Money Chain? Is MLM legal in India?

The questions asked by a good number of people in India is whether MLM is a money chain and if at all not whether it has any legality in India?

Money Chain is not legal in any countries of the world. It is joining new members and make them pay an amount of money to the company and get a small amount as commission. It is not legitimate. If you are interested in net work marketing, study the company's profile, see the product and know its worth, and of course study the person and his intentions, who introduces something to you...! Don't become the victim of any cheaters...!

News of the World becomes 'news of the world' and a 'history'...!

The tabloid by name 'News of the World', which used to describe itself as 'the greatest newspaper in the world' is no more now, with its closure yesterday...!

It was hard for people to imagine such a thriving UK newspaper which existed for 168 years, would end up so suddenly, surprisingly and apologetically...!

The reasons for this great tragedy were simple had it been in some other countries like India- hacking into the phones of a child murder victim and bribing policemen for information. The public outrage in Britain was so great that the paper decided it was best to shut down and did so yesterday with a cover of its last issue saying, 'Thank you & Goodbye' and making an apology for the mistakes that priced heavily.

Let it be a lesson for all those who think of gaining something through unlawful methods...!

Sexual harassment of women to be non-bailable in Maharastra

Keeping in view the growing number of sexual harassment and attrocities committed against the modesty of females, Maharastra Government is considering making such offences as non-bailable.

The matter was discussed extensively at a meeting Presided over by Home Minister R.R. Patil and top government officials on Friday evening which deliberated upon measures to reduce crimes against women.

This is proposed to be made through an amendment of section 354 of IPC.

Anyhow it is considered as a good step and will help reduce the sexual attrocities on women and the girl child to some extend, if rules and laws are equal for the haves and have nots and the influenced and the ordinary person...!

Dayanidhi Maran resigns: From Fame to Shame...!

One of the prominent, smart and loved politicians of DMK was Dayanidhi Maran during the UPA I government. When he was the telecoms minister, he proved himself to be very shrewd and smart. But now when he resigns as the minister of textiles, on the ground of huge corruption charges, how much humiliated he looked when he came out of the Prime Minister's office this afternoon after submitting his resignation...!

It has become a routine news nowadays that one or the other VIP is charged as corrupt and is sent to Tihar jail or some other prison. In spite of this, many new ones continue to be corrupt...!

India is fortunate to have a Prime minister like Dr. Manmohan Singh. It is very unfortunate for the honorable and dignified PM of India to tolerate corrupt cabinet colleagues in his team. Dr. Manmohan Singh is one of the greatest heads of countries in the whole world. His clean hands, vast knowledge, humility, honesty, loyalty all are widely appreciated by everyone. Why should sunch a great person fear and submit to corrupt politicians...?

He has no necessities to bow before anyone. He should initiate stern action against any one who is guilty, without any reservations.

Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad calls homosexuality as a "disease"

The Union Health Minister Shri Gulam Nabi Azad said in a national convention of Z.P Chairpersons and Mayors on HIV/AIDS that 'men having sex with men' is not only a disease but against the nature. He also said that the practice of having sex with same sex is a habit which has reached India from developed countries.

Gay marriages (marriage between people belonging to the same sex) is a practice that cannot be encouraged or justified in a country like India as it is totally against the long and tall tradition of this land.

God has created men and women to live together and to give birth to their generations by making love. If a man and man or woman and woman live together, how can they produce their young ones? They can probably spread diseases like AIDS...!

Misuse of IPC 498/A (Domestic violence Prev Act)

Indian Penal Code 498/A was enacted with a very good intention of protecting the wives from dowry related and other domestic violence. But it was shocking to know certain results a recent survey revealed. It seems this law is misused by some fraudulent women and their relatives to book non-bailable cases against poor men (husbands)...! It was more shocking to understand that about 56000 men commit suicides every year relating to this law. It seems only 2% of the cases booked are proven to be genuine. If laws which are framed for the betterment of the society are not observed and used in the proper way how dangerous they can be...?

Mad dog manace and the poor human lives in A.P.

People in some parts of Andhra Pradesh state is experiencing a lot of hardships due to the stray mad dogs. Many people are being bitten by rabid dogs past few months. Many are reported to have infected and died pathetically. Some Corporations are taking steps to give anti rabies injections to the rabid dog fearing action from Animal organizations like SPCA...! Is it a wise step? Whose lives are more important? Dog's or Man's...!

Anna Hazare's Fight against corruption in Inda

Anna Hazare - the aged veteran congress man deserves applauds. It is his 'one man army' that trembled the ruling government of India. Anna Hazare's fast and struggle against corrupt politicians and bureaucrats became a massive people's movement when responsible citizens from all walks of life joined hands with him. They include freedom fighters, social workers, film stars, business men, religious leaders and politicians.

When a struggle is initiated for a clean common cause, people tend to follow it voluntarily and extend their unconditional support. This makes a fight successful. But some people who are sunk in corruption also join this force and make it weaker. This is dangerous.

It is important for any leader to understand the one who comes to support his mission and find whether he is a 'wolf in sheep's skin' and avoid such people. Such frauds can spoil everything and the common man will lose his faith even in leaders like Anna Hazare...!

Will the world end on May 21, 2011 or Dec 21, 2012..? Or before...?

This news or rumour about the end of the earth is creating panic among the people as even famous scientists from around the world are supporting the predictions for various reasons. The world was created by God Almighty, even if it is not vouched by the so called wise. The ONE who created everything has already foretold about the distruction or end of HIS creations. What ever the Bible has predicted is happening and will happen even if all the people in the world oppose it. Nobody can change or stop the Sayings of the Almighty God.

Whether you believe in the life after death (Heaven and Hell) or not, it is advisable for you to lead a fitting life, avoiding crimes against your neighbours and lead a life with honesty and integrity, as what ever you earn by hookorcrook in this world will be left behind when you are called by the one who gave you life.

Suresh Kalmadi and huge scam and corruption of Common Wealth Game in India

India, which has a long cultural history and enjoys a prominent place among the world countries, is under the grip of a dangerous devil, ‘corruption’..! It has grown up so high that it is uncontrollable now. Many Political and Civil heads are misusing their power, position and influence to plunder the wealth of the Country and to defame the name and fame of the country.

Though the average people do not mind much about this as they have lost their hope, there are a great number of citizens who are greatly concerned about these common practices of the powerful sharks and are losing their temper and patience.

The incident that took place outside the CBI court yesterday is an example of it. The person who hurled his chappel (foot rest) on Mr. Suresh Kalmadi is not a lone one. He has just expressed the feelings of millions of Indians who are frustrated and raging with anger on those people who betray the mother land.
