Mr Pranab Mukherjee is elected as the thirteenth President of India...?

13th President of India, Pranab Mukherjee
As the UPA II's presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee is getting the support of more number of political parties day by day and a section of the opposition BJP has also announced their support for Pranab Mukherjee as the next President of India, it has become almost certain that he is to be named as the thirteenth President (Rashtrapati) of India in 2012.

Though there was a popular momentum form the public in support of the former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam as the New President, as the number of political parties supporting him were apparently less, he opted out of the presidential race. This has increased the chance of Mr Pranab to get in to the highest office of India.

West Bengal chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who is remaining as a coalition partner in the UPA government  and constantly creating trouble to the United Progressive Alliance government and dictates the UPA in even minute matters, tried to gather some support to a candidate against the wish of the UPA...but tragically failed to get any party...! The humiliated Mamata who is isolated end abandoned even by Mulayam Singh Yadav is planning to keep away from the Presidential voting...!

There are reports coming form some sources that there is a strong feeling in the UPA II to remove the defiant TNC from the alliance unable to bear any more relationship with her...!

Who will be the next President of India...?

As the by polls are conducted as scheduled and the Election Commission announcing the election of the President of India, all the National and regional parties are lobbying around to make the candidate of their choice to see as the thirteenth President of India.

There has never been an unhealthy campaigning and lobbying for the highest executive post of the President in the past. As n leading party is capable of choosing the candidate of its chioce for want of sufficient votes, it is imperative for all the parties to get the support of other parties.

Jagan's YSRCP sweeps Andhra Pradesh By-elections 2012 June 15th?: A.P Bypoll Results to be officially declared

As anticipated by most people of Andhra Pradesh, the by poll results after the counting of votes on the crucial June 15th has favored greatly the YSR Congress Party candidates.

Though the founder chief of the party YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is facing trial and is in Jail, as hoped by the party leaders and workers, the voters of the state have greatly stood by the YSR family.

Though it is greatly alleged that the ruling Congress leadership in Andhra Pradesh has done all what it can to defeat the YSRCP, the people of the state proved that they are with the late YS Raja Sekhara Reddy and his wife and son. There are allegations that the the government used some of its officials, police, power etc to win all the constituencies and to teach a good lesson to the YSRCP. It is also alleged that in some areas the Congress made secret understandings and joined with its arch rival Telugu Desam Party to defeat their common enemy.

As the final results are coming in, the ruling Congress's popular leader and industrialist candidate T. Subba Rami Reddy, who contested in the Nellore Loksabha constituency and whose victory was foretold by many, is trailing behind his relative and YSRCP candidate over a margin of about 50,000 votes.

Congratulation to all the winners and YSRCP leaders...! Please add your comments.

R Selvaraj is new Neyyattinkara MLA
Though the LDF candidate S Lawrence remained in the front for more than an hour in the early stage on the counting day of votes on June 15th, 2012 in Neyyattinkara byelection counting day to-day, later the UDF candidate R Selvaraj suddenly started to leap forward by widening the margin between his LDF rival and has secured his position for the victory.

Though the BJP candidate O Rajagopal who was following closely the UDF candidate with a small margin of about 500 votes in the beginning started to trail far behind later.

Porn Star Sunny Leone's lingerie used in JISM2 is for auction ... For Charity...?

Sunny Leone in Bikini in JISM2
World Porn queen, Sunny Leone who have become an actress in Bollywood film Industry through the film JISM-2 with her naked and nude exposures is on another controversy. Actor turned movie maker, Pooja Bhatt  has revealed recently that the clothes used by the porn star in the film including her lingerie would be auctioned for charity...!

There is already a controversy in Sunny's entry in the Indian film Industry. Though many of our heroines strip for photo shots, calendars and movie clippings it is not a common thing in India to accept openly a woman who is a porn star. Though some elite people have justified the arrival and acceptance of Sunny Leone in the Indian film industry, there are a large number of people still opposing her...!

In such a hot situation, it is very embracing the announcement of the auctions of the under garments used by the  porn star. According to the people's opinion, People of India unlike the west, do not show much interest to such things. They come forward to get the antiques used by great people and saints. Some people strongly feel that it is an insult to the 'Charity' sector and those being helped and supported by the charity.

Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram's request to cancel petition against him rejected by High Court

The Union Finance Minister's plea in the Madras High Court seeking the dismissal of the long pending case against him by his political opponent of AIADMK Raja Kannappan related to the 2009 Loksabha election results.

P Chidambaram has earlier requested the high court to quash the petition filed against him by Raja Kannappan who contested against PC in the 2009 Loksabha poll from Sivaganga constituency, alleging that Chidambaram's supporters had manipulated the votes and helped him win for a narrow margin of 3300 votes.

Though the High Court removed two of the 29 allegations charged against him, refused to quash the case against the minister this morning and said that the case and the trial will continue...!

This is considered as another big blow to the ruling UPA government at the center, which celebrated its anniversary recently.

Kerala Government asks Government Employees to avoid mobile phones at work.

Mobile phones are one of the most innovative intentions of the time. Since its invention it has become one of the most unavoidable and irresistible companion in the lives of the people. It has no doubt, reduced the work load for some while it serves as a best means of communication for all.

Though the hazardous effects of the misuse (over use) of cell phones is under various studies and there are a lot of problems which can be affected to its users following to its over use. Though many people know that mobile phones and the towers that supply the signal are highly dangerous and cause a number of health problems, people are not ready to minimize its use as many are found addicted to it.

Now another drawback of mobile phone is that it is carried everywhere and used always by some people despite the suggestions and warnings from concerned authorities. For example, there is  a rule 'not to use mobile phones while driving any vehicles' and most people are found defying the rule. Hence some governments and the police take stringent actions to the violators of the law and it is controlled to some extend in some states of India, like Kerala.

Now there is another advise from the the Kerala Government to all its employees, that is to avoid / restrict using the mobile phones while at work. This is intended to improve the efficacy of the public servants (government employees) to serve the people more honestly. This move of the Government is welcomed by the general public as a good initiative but there are murmuring and grinding of teeth among some government employees who are habituated to spend their time talking and chatting with their ....(some one) once they occupy their seats.

There is an opinion among the public that most of these people misuse the mobile phones to chat with their secret relationships/connections as they cannot freely contact them while at their homes...!!!

How ever it should be seen how many take it positively and abide by the government instructions for the welfare of the people of Kerala.

Kudos to the Government of Kerala for introducing such a novel idea for the first time in India.

The severe hot climate and electricity shortage: The Government of Andhra Pradesh is anti-people...?

The average temperature in most states in India are very high expect fro Kerala, Himalayan states and the North Eastern states. Most Indian states are recording record temperature which very unbearable. It is not possible for any government or leaders to stop the wrath of God - the severe, boiling heat...!

But the government (leaders and ministers) which has taken oath to protect the lives and properties of the people entrusted to it care, has a responsibility to take adequate steps to atleast provide uninterrupted electricity power to the people particularly in such extreme climatic conditions.

The Government of Andhra pradesh is facing the ire of the people in many issues specially for failing to supply power when it is most needed. Many people are wondering and asking whether there is a government at all in Andhra Pradesh. Most of the Ministers and leaders are spending all their time and efforts to take revenge on their political rivals and to save their chairs. No one is seemed to be involved in any welfare activities or projects. Even the people who backed and supported the Congress Party for decades are mourning grievously ... seeing the anti-people policies of those rulers whom they voted and gave power.

Anna Hazare and Ramdev begin fast at Jandar Mandir against corruption and foreign black money.

The anti-corruption crusader and popular Gandhian who formed a team to fight against the growing corruption in India, Anna Hazare has once again started his 'fast' after a long gap. This time yoga guru Ramdev also has joined him. They have commenced their fast at Jander mandir this morning.

Anna's momentum started last year got instant support of the general people from all walks of life. It was accepted by the people as a noble cause of the people. People throughout the nook and corner of the country became his fans and joined the war on corruption. It was a massive successful people's movement until ....

Suddenly Anna Hazare got the support of BJP which is considered as a political party and he slightly got inclined towards it. Prior to that Baba Ramdev declared his support to Team Anna which started the common peace-loving secular people doubt Anna's team fearing it has some hidden 'Hindutva agenda' behind it.

The common opinion of the people is that such leaders like Anna Hazare who have grown up in the Gandhian principles should keep away from any individuals or organizations or communal forces or parties that have no religious tolerance, as religious intolerance is equally worse as corruption.

In spite of all the fasts and agitations conducted by Anna and his team with huge public backing, people wonder  why the Government of India could not pass a strong Lokpal bill that is capable of rooting out corruption from the Indian soil which is the main reason that blocks the development of the country.

People of India who have lost faith in any political parties are badly in need of a crusader like Anna Hazare to lead the war on corruptions and other social evils.
