As the third day of interrogation of YSRC party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy by the CBI is in progress, the speculation of his arrest by the investigating agency is rising. Many people think that the Central Bureau of Investigation will arrest Jagan in connection with his disproportionate wealth amassing case.
Though there is mixed reactions among the people what will happen in the state if Jagan Mohan reddy is arrested, most people including his political arch-rivals the Congress Party and the Telugu Desam party are of the opinion that his chances of sweeping all the 18 legislative by election seats and Nellore loksabha seat would be more. It is widely talked that the Congress party which indirectly initiated Jagan's interrogation (and arrest) is at a fix, not knowing what to do. If the government permits the CBI to question all the stinted ministers in the cabinet and the bureaucrats, that will also definitely affect the government.
However, it is widely opined that there is going to be a major change in the Andhra Pradesh state politics and the ruling government following the by polls on June 12th, 2012, as the YSRC party is expected to win most of the seats going to the by-polls June 12th, 2012.
