Surya TV's Malayalam Kaiyil Oru Kodi Are U Ready Commenced and hits the viewers

The high stakes reality money game show, conducted by popular South Indian languages TV channel Sun Net work has started as a big hit in the South Indian TV viewership. The novel money game show in South Indian Regional languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada are introduced differently from other shows.

The show's title is 'Kaiyil Oru kodi, Are You Ready'...? in Tamil and Malayalam languages. In Telugu it is 'Ko ante koti, mee sontham chesukkonti' in Gemini TV.

In Malayalam, the show is from 7.00 pm to 7.55pm from Monday through Friday. The contestants who  are expected to appear in a pair are given one crore of Indian rupees in advance (the currency exhibited may not be real, but just for illustration and symbolic purpose). Piravom by election 2012 Results officially declared... UDF's Anoop Jacob makes landslide victory 12070 majority...!

At last the anxiously awaited day has come. March 21st, 2012 - the day of counting of votes polled in the Piravom by election held on march 17th. The counting of votes commenced exactly at 8.00 am as announced earlier.

There was huge anxiety and tension on both sides during the counting of votes in the first Panchayats namely Chottanikkara and Thiruvankulam, where the lead level of both the candidates were just around hundred, where MJ Jacob was seen leading frequently for hundred to two hundred votes...

With the start of counting of votes in the third panchayat Pampakkulam, the UDF candidates margin started leaping forward in thousands. Though the lead of Anoop Jacob remained over five thousand for some time, when the votes of Amballoor and Edakkattuvayal were counted his lead crossed ten thousand votes, more than that was expected by the UDF leadership and the party activists. Shortly later Anoop Jacob was declared as the winner with a huge margin of 12070 votes which is a startling margin for all involved in the by polls.

The UDF's victory in the Piravom by election is considered as clean chit to the people-friendly governance of Oommen Chandy's UDF government in Kerala State. It is seen as a people's referendum for the UDF Government in Kerala which is just nine months old.

The landslide victory of the UDF candidate Anoop Jacob in the Piravom by election also teaches the defiant and maverick parties and leaders in the front about the need to work united, keeping away selfish desires. The people's opinion on the grounds of this huge victory is that there is a clear and strong UDF trend in Kerala state of India, which is known as 'God's own Country'...!

Record polling percentage in Piravom 85.6... or above 90 percent...?

The poll cast by the voters of Piravom today is stated to be record polling. In eight polling booths the poll percentages have gone above ninety percent and the total percentage is expected to rise at the end of today's by-election.

With the highest percentage of votes recorded, both the fronts are very confident of winning the much fought Assembly by election.

While a confident LDF candidate M J Jacob claimed that the high percentage of votes polled will go in advantage to him, the UDF contestant Anoop Jacob seemed to be much more confident stating that the results which is to be declared after the counting of votes on March 21st will prove his victory with comfortable majority.

Though some people and parties hail the budget presented by the finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee as a budget pertaining to the global economic situation, some other people and parties are of the opinion that the budget is only a disappointing one.

Jagathy Sreekumar Critical in the accident. Hundreds are praying for him world-wide

The news of the road accident in which popular Malayalam veteran cine actor Jagathi Sreekumar is seriously injured, has brought concerns and sadness among thousands of Malayalees world-wide. Jagadhi Srikumar has been entertaining the entire Kerala people with his exceptional acting talent since long. Latest news indicate that though he is out of danger, his condition is still serious. Though Romney could win six states, he could not get a clear escape as Santorum grabbed three states and the third in the race, Newt Gingrich one state. Thus it was clear the Romney   could not shake off his opponents in the fight.

The lessons to learn from the Indian Assembly Elections, 2012. Is Rahul Gandhi Responsible for the defeat...?

Now the assembly Elections for the five Indian states are over and their results are also officially declared. In all the cases, the real results were very much a surprise for both the winners and the losers....! All the exit poll and post poll surveys and opinions were proven to be wrong...! The mandate of the voters were beyond the expectations of any party or the contestants...!

Though Mr Rahul Gandhi accepted responsibility for the poor performance of the Congress Party in UP, for which he campaigned and traveled day and night extensively for many months, forgoing food and sleep, he is not at all to be blamed for the poor show of the grand old party in UP.

In-fact political analysts, think-tanks and observers feel and believe that it is only because of the effort of Mr Rahul Gandhi, Congress could improve its number of seats in UP in the just concluded election, than the number won in 2007...! Had Rahul not entered in the campaign and worked as he did, Congress would have got no seats in UP....!

There are many factors that distanced the voters of the states with the oldest political party which they were adopting for many years. May be the dirty 'caste feeling' also have played some role. The different statements made by different Congress leaders have surely harmed the party. The open challenge declared by Central Minister Mr Salman Khurshid on the Chief Election Commission may also have injured the party, no doubt...!

The frequently breaking relationships of the UPA's alliance parties, like Mamata Banerjee's TMC and Sharad Pawars's NCP with the Congress party, has also vexed a section of the voters to some extend, which is also a major reason for the great fall of the grand old party of India...!

Congress voters in the country are not in a mood to accept the 'responsibility' of Mr Rahul Gandhi or are not ready to digest if anyone blames him responsible for the defeat of the party in the Assembly Elections 2012.
